ASMA (Association of Shape Memory Alloys) was inaugurated in 1993 to advance the science and technology on shape memory alloys and to contribute for industrial development. Engineers and academics are interacting to improve the knowledge of the technology.
Mission of ASMA
The goal of our organization is to engage in the research and development of SMAs, facilitation of interactions between diverse domains (corporations, universities and institutes), promotion of the use and adoption of shape memory technologies, and to contribute to the advancements in the sciences and technologies related to SMAs and further improve reliability of the material.
Activity of ASMA
- One-day course
Introductory lectures on the basics of shape memory, material processing and their applications provided by various instructors from academia and industry. - Symposium
